Senior Football Tour to Hamburg

After a short flight from Gatwich the team landed in Hamburg on the Friday evening and checked into the hostel, the rest of the evening was free for the team to explore the local resterants and bars.

On the Saturday the team had the morning to explore the local area, then the coach picked the team up at mid day to take to them to their first fixture where they had a impressive result beating FC Hellbrook. After the game Hellbrook put on some amazing hospitality and really got to know the touring team over a few drinks. After the fixture they were picked up by the coach and transfered back to the accommodation where they were free for the evening.

Imtech Areana Hamburg

On the Sunday the team were free after breackfast to visit the Imtech Arena, the home of Hamburg SV. After lunch the team were picked up to be taken to their second fixture where they had a much more competitive match with host club FC Lorbeer. After a much closer game Old Salopian FC came out on top with a win, giving them an unbeaten record on this tour. Both Coaches enjoyed the competitive nature of the game. Old Salopians FC thanked both clubs for there hospitality and very much enjoyed the post match friendliness.
