Junior Rugby Tour to Antwerp

During their junior rugby tour to Antwerp, the players of St Neots Rugby Club U16’s & Colts were able to combine visits to Antwerp’s Medieval Old Town with extremely popular days out to Antwerp’s Zoo and the nearby Oceade Water Park in Brussels. Antwerp’s diversity also ensured there was plenty for the adult members of the touring party to enjoy.

Whilst on tour, the junior rugby teams enjoyed a total of four games of rugby against both Belgian and French sides, which enabled them to experience a variety of rugby styles during their tour.

Their hosts were welcoming to both touring teams and the players stayed at the host clubs for most of the day after each match. This allowed the teams to enjoy a more rounded touring experience, with insights into the culture and traditions of the host clubs as well as their playing styles on the pitch. The tour was excellent from start to finish!
